Grace marched (well, tricycled) in her very first parade today. It was the Renton River Days celebration that is an annual tradition here. She rode with her (soon to be) preschool friends who were invited to participate. Here is the video:
Here is a music video showing all of the exciting highlights from our trip to Disney World this past April. (Click on the four arrows in the lower right corner to watch in full screen mode.) Hope you enjoy!!!
Wishing everyone a wonderful Independence Day from the Pacific Northwest! We went to a parade this morning and Grace was very excited to show her patriotic spirit by waving her flag. Of course, she was also pleasantly surprised when the people in the parade were throwing candy. She had some pretty rude eager children standing next to her that beat her to picking up most of the candy, but she was a trooper and just kept trying…which made the reward all that much sweeter! We enjoyed a fun BBQ dinner last night with some friends and now plan on spending the next two days working on staining our deck. As you will see from some of the pictures, we are still waiting for our “summer” weather to hit…the standard saying up here is that summer doesn’t start until July 5th…which has held true the last four summers that we have lived here, so needless to say we are excited to see what tomorrow brings!
We have been pretty busy the last couple of months, so here are a mixture of few photos from playdates (picking strawberries, zoo, tour of fire station, beach day, farm), soccer, camping at Lake Wenatchee, and our trip back east to Boston, MA and Oneida, NY.
